acqueline A. Field was born to Marvin and Marian Mohn in Reading, Pennsylvania. She learned early in life what it is to raise children, being the eldest of seven. After her high school graduation she married and had three children of her own. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

When her youngest child graduated from high school she returned to the workplace. She became a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary. She enjoyed fishing, crocheting, crafts, quilting, and a good argument.

A strong interest in space and the unknown were a part of her life. She always believed in the existence of extraterrestrial life. She often said: "Someone is out there, and I would like to be one of the first to meet them."

She hoped to live long enough to be able to travel to the moon. She firmly believed that that would be an everyday occurrence in the near future.

Jacqueline saw a TV program about Celestis while in the hospital and decided she would like to make arrangements to have her ashes flown in space.

To consider the Earth as the only populated world in infinite space is as absurd as to assert that in an entire field of millet, only one grain will grow.
