Earth

May 20, 2011 (Houston, TX) -- Celestis, Inc., a subsidiary of Space
Services, Inc., announced today the successful launch of its latest
Memorial Spaceflight - The Goddard Flight - carrying cremated
remains into space, and returning them to Earth, aboard a SpaceLoft
XL launch vehicle developed by UP Aerospace of Highlands Ranch,
Colorado. Launch occurred at approximately 7:21 am Mountain Daylight
Time (9:21 am EDT, 1:21 pm GMT) from Spaceport America in New Mexico.

Verses to Fly to the Moon
UPDATE (August 2010) -- Launch currently projected to occur in
2012/2013.
July 21, 2009 (Houston, TX) -- As part of the 40th anniversary
of the historic Apollo 11 moon landing, Celestis, Inc.(www.celestis.com),
the pioneer and global leader in Memorial Spaceflight, announced
today that it will launch verses of Miguel Hernández’
poem “Perito en Lunas” (“Expert in Moon Matters”)
to the Moon. Launch is projected to occur as early as 2011. The
inclusion of the poem on Celestis’ next lunar mission has
been arranged at the request of the Fundación Cultural Miguel
Hernández (the Miguel Hernández Cultural Foundation)
in Orihuela, Spain.

dream of journeying through space with her husband and creative

for the next Celestis Memorial Spaceflight – The Discovery
Flight – currently scheduled for launch May 2, 2009 aboard
a Spaceloft XL launch vehicle developed by UP Aerospace of Highlands
Ranch, Colorado. Launch will occur from Spaceport America in New
Mexico. Among the "discoverers" honored aboard this mission
will be famed Titanic explorer Ralph White.
