Voyager Service

The Voyager Service launches Celestis flight capsules and modules on a voyage through deepest space, leaving the Earth-Moon system on a permanent celestial journey.

The Voyager Service is expected to launch its first mission in 2011, perhaps aboard a spacecraft being developed by Space Services, Inc. that will fly to the L1 point and serve as an early warning system for dangerous solar storms.

Voyager missions truly offer an opportunity to be at one with the cosmos, on a mission of exploration.

Capsule Option (One participant, 1g)
Standard Service $12,500
Preferred Service $19,995 (please call for more information about preferred level service)

• Launches one gram of cremated remains, first priority, into deep space;
• Invitation to launch and memorial services: pre-launch briefings, launch tour (when available);
• A custom, individualized, professionally produced DVD of the launch and memorial activities;
• Complimentary scattering of balance of remaining cremated remains at sea near the launch site;
• Inscription of the participant’s name and message on a special plaque included in the spacecraft;
• Personalized Online Memorial, including a biography (up to five pages, 500 words/page, five photos, five video and five audio clips, online Guest Book messages) placed on the Celestis Web site;
• Post-launch certificate;
• Memorial plaque, with replica of the flight module, suitable for display in home or office;
• Performance assurance — in the event the mission is not successful, you will have the option for a priority re-flight, at no additional cost, on the next scheduled Space Services Inc. Voyager Service launch.

Gemini Capsule Option (Two participants, 1g each)
Standard Service $18,750
Preferred Service $29,995 (please call for more information about preferred level service)

• Launches the cremated remains samples of two people (2 grams total — intermingled) in a Voyager Flight Capsule on next available Voyager Service mission;
• Cremated remains of first participant safely stored in a safe deposit box at a Houston, Texas bank location until second participant’s time of need;
• Invitation to launch and memorial services: pre-launch briefings, launch tour (when available);
• A custom, individualized, professionally produced DVD of the launch and memorial activities;
• Complimentary scattering of balance of remaining cremated remains at sea near the launch site;
• Inscription of the participants' names and messages on a special plaque included in the spacecraft;
• Personalized Online Memorial, including a biography (two memorial pages — 500 words/page, two photos, ten video and ten audio clips, online Guest Book messages) placed on the Celestis Web site (additional photos are available);
• Post-launch certificate;

• A custom, individualized, professionally produced DVD of the launch and memorial activities;
• Complimentary scattering of balance of remaining cremated remains at sea near the launch site;
• Inscription of the participant’s name and message on the flight module;
• Personalized Online Memorial, including a biography (one page — 500 words, one photo, five video and five audio clips, online Guest Book messages) placed on the Celestis Web site (additional photos are available);

• Cremated remains of first participant safely stored in a safe deposit box at a Houston, Texas bank location until second participant’s time of need;
• Invitation to launch and memorial services: pre-launch briefings, personal meeting and dinner with an astronaut, launch tour (when available);
• A custom, individualized, professionally produced DVD of the launch and memorial activities;

Select Your Favorite Flight

As we conduct our launches around the world, you can specify the launch location you wish from those available. When available, a reservation can be made on a preferred (particular) flight for an additional 20% of the standard price for one service. Otherwise, we will include the cremated remains in the next available Earth Orbit launch.
